STAMPAF - The quality control

The priority given to quality in each productive phase has a role of primary importance with STAMPAF presiding over structural and functional aspects which qualify the entire achievement. Involvement of the human resources and technological systems which are exploited continuously in order to enhance quality as well as encourage total organisation practically, maximises aspects of the production systems aimed at "zero defect".
The operative strategy of the new methods on product quality in started up by the warehouse of semi-manufactured materials where a card is given to every piece with all the characteristics for identifying the technical specifications.
This card accompanies the piece through all the production processes with a control on the machines and final test before delivery.
The control cards used for a greater reliability of the product keep up with the advancement of the production processes, indicating the various procedures envisaged in the manuals for checking STAMPAF quality.
This document indicates the type of inspection, control and compilation forms for the components entering production. The certification of the values found during production is carried out in an equipped metrological room, which contains profilometers, durometers, micrometers as well as measuring machines and other equipment indispensable for checking purposes.
In order to reach top quality levels, during production precision testing and positioning repeatability for the axes has also been extended to the machine tools.
This has been set up by STANIMUC and serves as a further guarantee of STAMPAF's production.

To improve our customers' service, we have recently established a full inspection programme including four different stages, namely:

Safety inspection: first inspection stage developed at the manufacturer's site and intended for testing the machinery safety.

Conformity inspection (capability 1): second inspection stage developed at the vendor's works and testing the machine output rate and serviceability; the positive result of these tests involves the machinery release for shipment.

Acceptance tests and inspection (capability 2): third inspection stage developed at the customer's works and intended for checking the machine output rate and serviceability; to be carried out after the machine erection and start-up. The positive result of these final acceptance tests and inspection will certify the machinery is complying with the specification requirements and approve the machinery for read to the production cycle.

Function dependability inspection: fourth inspection stage developed after the machine entry to the production cycle, in order to verify its output rate maintainability; the results from the above mentioned tests must be in compliance (unless otherwise stated on the specification drawings) with a Cmk coefficient, to be higher than or equal to 1.33.
